Make May Day a holiday. Don’t ask for permission. Demand it.
Fun fact: Oregon was the first state to adopt a Labor Day holiday in 1887. It wasn’t recognized as a federal holiday until 1894.
But why hasn’t the United States recognized May Day (International Workers’ Day)
as a federal holiday? Because its origins are associated with socialism
and anarchism, the most feared ideologies of an imperialist,
colonialist, capitalist oligarchy.
This May Day, it’s WORKERS OVER BILLIONAIRES.
We declare no business as usual (local business being the exception)
while the protected billionaire pedophile class runs amok with no
accountability. This is OUR holiday. Don’t ask for it. Demand it. Take
the day.
